The Cube SL Road is built around a lightweight alloy frame, the sporty geometry keeps you feeling confident and in control whilst still keeping you nice and upright for a comfortable ride. The rigid aluminium fork keeps the steering precises and predictable, and reduces the weight of the front of the bike making it easier to pull the bike in and out of the car.

A Shimano Claris groupset gives a wide range of gearing options, and will provide smooth and accurate shifting for years to come. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give fantastic stopping power and feel in all weather conditions, and offer a huge advantage over conventional rim brakes.

We've welded the SL Road's aluminium frame from extremely light double butted tubes, giving the best combination of low weight, superb strength and great ride quality. As you'd expect, it's passed all our in-house testing for safety and durability. For the lightweight aluminium fork's design, we took our inspiration from our racing bikes - the æro shape is exceptionally stiff and looks fast even when the bike is standing still. We also routed the cables inside the down tube, adding to the bike's sleek looks and reducing wear and tear in the process.
